At EWG we’re always listening and responding to our clients’feedback by developing and introducing new features that are designed to continually improve your user experience. We have three new features which we’re excited to share, which have been released today, and will create significant time savings, and reduce repeated data entry and the possibility of keying in errors, for you and your team.

Favourites

We understand that our clients manage complex structure accounts, but often with the same or similar structure, containing the same people and entities, especially where corporate trustees are used. With this in mind, we have created the new ‘Favourites’ feature that will save significant amounts of time when opening new accounts with EWG. The feature allows you to save ‘Favourite Entities’, ‘Favourite People’ and ‘Favourite Addresses’ and then add them to account applications using a dropdown/search list, rather than having to needlessly retype the information in each time. A significant time saving, and data accuracy win for everyone!

Cloning

To compliment the Favourites feature we have also introduced a Cloning feature. This allows you to copy an entire account application and create a new version of it. This will save you time, every time you need to open a new account if you save a base application and keep reusing it. When using the Cloning function, you only need to attach any new documents and complete the relevant declarations and you are ready to go!

Structuriser

We understand that looking at a text-based view of a corporate structure can make it difficult to understand, especially if there are lots of members and relationships involved. To help you provide full and accurate information, as part of our account opening process, you can now use the EWG Structuriser, our own structure visualisation tool which lets you review account ownership structures as a diagram!

This great feature allows you to use an interactive structure chart, using the data you have entered in the Ownership and Control Structure section. You can also use the Structuriser to enter the data in the first place, if you prefer to work visually. This allows you to match the structure against any structure chart you may already have, further improving data accuracy and reducing the risk of processing delays. As the saying goes ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’, and with complex legal person structures, this couldn’t be more true!
